HighCom plugin for CooleditWhy ?If you are like me, you have a lot of old cassette-tape recordings with highcom noisereduction. You would like to convert them to mp3-files. In the process you also like to correct some problems like noise and frequency respons.Of cource you could use your old highcom-taperecorder, but there are reasons not to:
RequirementsThis plug-in is designed for Cooledit pro 1.2 from Syntrillium, now for Cooledit 2000 as well.Use
Installation1. Extract the <highcom.xfm> to cooledit's plugin folder. The exact folder name may vary. Try looking for <c:\program files\coolpro>. Verify that this is where the other *.xfm resides.2. Delete the file <xfm.dat> in the same folder. This will make cooledit scan for plugins next time it is started. On some systems (NT, XP PRO) this file can be found in Documents and setting folder. Uninstallation1. Delete <highcom.xfm>2. Delete <xfm.dat> 3. The keycode is stored in regestry at \\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PyramideDataDK\HighCom It can be removed with regedit. (If you don't know what that is, please just leave it there. It will not harm anyone) |
